Alright, I really hope this place gets raided by the health inspector and gets shut down. There is absolutely no reason that this place should be allowed to serve food to anyone.
First off, I live locally in Milford, so Milano's is right in my backyard.
Secondly, I'm not picky or easily grossed out. But read on... because this place is the worst.
So about two years ago we ordered 6 subs from Milano's so that we could cut them up and serve them for lunch for a bunch of guests we were having over. Upon cutting the first sandwich, a long hair was found that would not allow the sandwich to finish pulling apart without being noticed. Okay, gross, but moving on... Second sandwich, more hair. Now I'm inspecting every sandwich and they ALL HAD HAIR in them. This was a doordash order, so there was no vendetta or anything, plus I had never had an issue with Milano's prior to this. So I reached out to them as a concerned buyer to please check their area as there is no reason that this much hair could be in food... So you'd think, right? Anyway, I spoke to the manager and they offered to remake the food. I declined, and sent him the photo of 100% of the sandwiches in the trash where they belonged. We requested a refund via doordash and vowed to never order from Milano's again.
Well fast forward to today. My in-laws were kind enough to invite us over for pizza that they ordered. We didn't know where it was from, and it wasn't on our mind to ask... so we ate it. Well, we did until I felt a MELTED BOTTLE CAP in my mouth after taking a bite. It looked like the onions that were on the pizza.
I took pictures. This is the last straw. Never have I been so upset with a food establishment, this place has got to go.
If you still decide to eat here, do yourself a favor and CHECK EVERYTHING before you consume. Your health and safety depends on it.
This is what I just spent almost $60 on. And waited an hour and ten minutes when I was originally told 45 minutes. Disgusting to bring home to my family
If you grew up in the Boston suburbs like me you'll find the food closest thing we can get to what we grew up with. I like my pizza well done with the crust a little burnt. If they cooked a little bit longer it would be perfect
Looks good inside. Plexiglass installed between booths.
I only ordered takeout. A small cheese pizza 🍕. Though service was friendly, I wasn't asked if I needed anything. I should have asked for plates. It looks like they are getting picnic tables ready for outdoor dining.
Everyone liked the pizza 🍕. My daughter, who is picky, ate her slices without a fuss. I'm not a big fan of pizza 🍕, but, I liked it. Price for a small was reasonable.
Facemasks required. I recommend this pizzeria.
Had the pepperoni pizza extra cheese, eggplant parmigiana with mushrooms sub, and french fries. All was delicious and piping hot.
Very good food, very nice people, and it's a always a pleasant atmosphere. I live in town so I eat her often I promise u won't disappoint!!
I used to absolutely love the food here but for some reason everything has changed starting about a month or so ago. Ordered food for 2 people and was told there would be a roughly 45 minute wait that somehow turned into 2 full hours. Then the food was lukewarm at best & what used to have good flavor has turned very bland and almost flavorless.
I decided to give it another shot and went back on 07/16 Ordered the Chicken Finger dinner with Onion rings and a Cheese Steak sub. Unfortunately the wait time didn't improve much and the food has actually gotten worse. The Cheese Steak had no flavor and so much grease that the roll fell apart and had to eat 75% of it with a fork. The chicken fingers were also very bland and only saved by plenty of honey mustard sauce and finally, the onion rings had so much unseasoned batter that it was like eating soggy oatmeal. Unfortunately, I'm now looking for a similar-style place in the area to bring my business as this place has gone way too far downhill.
I normally get either pizza or a sandwich and they are quite good. Tonight I was however in the mood for pasta, thinking to myself sure it’ll be good and homemade. That couldn’t have been further from the truth, it tasted like a can of spaghetti o’s and was lukewarm. DO NOT GET PASTA HERE. Pasta amore is much better and only a few miles away.
